Any recommendations on a free or opensource screen recording package? Something with built in Quicktime/ipod support would be better, but if I have to convert it myself I suppose I could...

Unfortunately, it looks like there are only options for Linux and Windows. Honestly, I've found Camtasia to be well worth the money. I got it with the Snag It bundle, and I'm actually surprised at how much easier screen shots are with it. YMMV though.
