Dickie George of the NSA has an interview with govinfosecurity that may have some information useful for people interested in persuing a career in cyber security. From what I've read so far, having (legal) hands on experience in attacking systems, and possibly a degree from a National Center of Academic Excellence College.

Also consider a career in the FBI for domestic cyber security work. The FBI has 50+ offices across the USA, so you won't necessarily be chained to the D.C. area.

I can't really decide what I want to concentrate my computer engineering major in just yet, but right now it is looking like networking technologies which would be a pretty good fit for the security world in my eyes. After I get my CCNA, I will probaly either go for CCNA security.
so in other words, GREAT POST! I love to hear this kind of stuff! -
