Anyone know of any cable / DOCSIS / HFC certs?
I asked this in the general discussion board but figured I'd get a more focused audience here. Does anyone know of any cable / DOCSIS / HFC certs out there? I don't care how obscure, proprietary, or hard to study for they are. Nothing in the Cisco track was any good for cable infrastructure. It wasn't mentioned at all in any of the design material and not mentioned much in the technical stuff. You can read all about administering a uBR CMTS on the DocCD but that's where the buck stops. I know quite a bit about cable infrastructure but there's always more to learn and it's a subject of interest for me so I'd like to pursue any certs out there. Any advice or recommendations are appreciated.

I don't own a radio and I can't list it on a resume really, but it was probably one of my more useful certs.
I used a book called "Now you're talking" for it that was pretty decent. Made for a nice break from the IT track too. -

May not be what you want but have you consider Bicsi?

A lot of the datacenter techs at my job have or are pursuing these certs.
