Most are straight up. But, I have ran into a bunch of questions on each exam that when you read them, you are like, "Do what?" Because they word different to confuse you. -

Been listening to Jeremy, haven't you? One of my coworkers was listening to some CBT nuggets the other day and I heard him go into a semi-rant about how the guidelines for Cisco questions were straight up and some 'other vendor' likes to play games.
For the most part though, you're right. But Cisco is a bunch of tricksy bastards at times. You have to make sure you read the entire question and understand what they're asking you for, but they *will* include answers that would be correct if you didn't read the entire question and just assumed certain facts. -

I agree totally. I believe my next attempt will go a lot better to be honest. I spent way two much time on two of my labs, and had to rush through around 25 of my last questions. I believe this is the reason that I failed to be honest. That and I need to review in two more areas. I'm going to hit IPv6 again, and do some more redistribution labs, and a few other things, and go in 2/6, pace myself better, and see what happens. -
trackit Member Posts: 224just wanted to ask, did you have functioning tab and/or ? on your BSCI sims?

I knew this exam was going to be extremely difficult, so I didn't underestimate it one bit. But, I'll prepare some more and go at it again. I'm not going to hold my head down. It's not like I'm the only one to ever fail it on the first go around. It just proves that my theory of the difficulty of this exam was correct. Let's just say that I'm going to lab OSPFv3 some more and Redistribution, that will give you an idea, but I'm not saying anything more than that But the way they word the sims definitely try to throw you off. They got me this time. Hopefully not the 2nd attempt though I said that I wished I had failed by more than 7 points, because the 7 points hurts because it was right there in my hands. But, oh well, next time will be better
I failed my CCNA by 2 points the first time I took it and the last question had a network diagram with a router and either a switch or a hub, I know the logical difference between the two but I didn't know what they looked like in a cisco diagram.. Yeah needless to say I was pissed, however I passed it the next week! You will get it man no worries! -
