Anyone else notice that Cisco is releasing a new SP Operations track? Cisco Announces Service Provider Operations Track
Looks pretty interesting. Although I'm not sure how many people have the opportunity to practice with IOS XR, if I'm not mistaken the CRS-1 is the only device that runs it. That would be one hell of a lab router.

Is there really a need for a CCNP SP when they already have the CCIP? Maybe this explains the changes to the CCNP and might bring an end to the CCIP.An expert is a man who has made all the mistakes which can be made.

APA Member Posts: 959I saw the IE:SP Operations track on the Learning Network... didn't know they had a CCNA:SP Ops and CCNP:SP ops pencilled in....
CCIP is more than enough for a NOC engineers\Operations Engineer....
Still interesting to see how concentrated they are going....... I might dip my hand into this bucket just for fun
