my network places question
timoski
On my virtual network all client computers and the DC are showing up under my network places. Now in a real world sitruation, Im thinking this is not ideal.
Im thinking the best approach would be to have just the file server appearing in My network places?
I cant see the point at thaving the DC plus client computers listed there as well.
I guess Im trying to figure out how to get rid of all computers except for the file server, and...
Would this be a valid real world approach? Or is there a reason Im missing that would require all the computers in my network showing up in MNP when accessed from a client computer?
One other interesting thing that is confusing, is that if I right click the icon in MNP for the client computers, they are named as file servers. The file server role is not installed on them. Thanks for any advice...
