Server cluster in virtualbox?
Does anyone know if it is possible to create a 2k3 cluster in virtualbox? Thanks.
edit: Or any virtual environment for that matter.

That is so win!

I wonder if FreeNAS will work, going to have to test this out later. -

I have my 70-293 on Sat for 2003 so now would be a great time to practice clustering and test it out all at once -

Everyone says that. I just don't see clustering as that complex a topic. Either I clearly don't understand it or I'm going to ace that part...either way we'll going to find out real fast lol -

No I have been studying for a month for this and have done some labs, just doing things a second time would help them sink in better and test out the virtual box support. -

I have to agree with Nightshade about this. When I took the 293 the questions asked regarding clustering were all fairly conceptual. I passed the 293 (mid 700s - so not an amazing score) without any hands on in clustering other than a simply installation and configuration of the service.
I just don't see this as a topic one needs to lab up extensively to do ok on. -
NightShade03 Member Posts: 1,383 ■■■■■■■□□□I would seriously bet that the complexity of clustering isn't what kills on this exam (unless you know nothing about clustering). I think that just the amount of material is different areas is what is what kills you on this particular exam.

Openfiler Forums / Does Openfiler 2.3 support SCSI-3 Connections?
I'm going to try setting up a cluster with Server 2003 using OpenFiler... We'll see how that goes. -
