Accesing wiki on Internet Explorer 8

Randomly people may have to login to access the wiki, even/though because using IE 8.They received pop up message asking about credential authentication as account ID and password even they are logging on to domain.The server is running Windows SharePoint 3.0.
Do you have any advice how to fix this problem?
