Hi
Interview with emc next week with EMC for Associate Voice Engineer details of job:
·Stay abreast of current technologies, make recommendations based on knowledge and research. Assist Sr. Voice Engineers in implementing major initiatives. Working knowledge of Visio and ability to compose network diagrams.
·Interface with Global carriers to develop and implement voice solutions.
·Work with engineers and other engineering groups on complex problems and provide innovative suggestions for solutions.
·Actively seek customer input and take responsibility for customer situations if necessary.
·Identify inefficiencies, make suggestions and contribute to process improvements.
·Troubleshoot, isolate and resolve complex voice problems. Use appropriate tools available to monitor and troubleshoot Voice issues.
·Implement design solutions to keep up with and accommodate voice expansion.
SKILLS
·Knowledge with appropriate networks, products and protocols.
·Problem solving skills.
·Strong technical aptitude.
·Interpersonal skills.
·Communication skills.
·Mentoring/Coaching skills.
·Knowledge of job associated database/software/documentation.
Ive mcsa and mcitp but no voice experience but cv must have impressed them
Please advise of any good sites I can look at or articles so I can show some inititive
Im googling this all the time but wondering does anyone have knowledge of emc voice products

TheShadow Member Posts: 1,057 ■■■■■■□□□□I really don't have any advice but to learn about the companies products and trade reviews on said products. I was curious myself on way you would get an interview without voice experience. I did see that Microsoft is holding them up as one of their innovative customers. Maybe they also need MS experience and are willing to train the right person.
