What version of Symentec Ghost is commonly used by large IT departments? It has been many years since I've worked with ghosting, so I want to update myself. I plan to install atrial version and work with it.
I checked and there is Norton Ghost 11 and also Symentech Ghost 2.5. What's the difference?

We are using Ghost 8. I've worked at 3 different places and all were using version 8. It is a bit more "bare bones" but seems to get the job done quite well. I'm not sure of the differences in the two versions you mentioned but I have heard verison 11 has more features such as on the fly partitioning tools (similar to patition magic). I haven't really researched newer verions mainly because everywhere I work we seem to use version 8. Good luck.
