I don't think so, but you can check on what you should know here. Just click on the exam(s) you're taking.

I just passed the CCNA 640-801. There is NO wireless on the exam.

Can't say I remember any, but chances are if you did get anything, it'd be something simple like what IEEE number is used for WiFi

Has anyone who has lately taken the CCNA exam had any questions on wireless. In his CCNA 4th ed. book, Todd Lammle lists some wireless technologies that he says, "the ones you need to know for the new CCNA exam".

I checked the exam objectives on Cisco's site, nothing about wireless, any ideas.

The only places I've had wireless was on the CCIE R&S Written, a CCSP exam icon_eek.gif and in the Cisco CCNA Network Academy Courses. And for the Cisco exams -- between the exam blueprints and the cisco press books -- the wireless questions weren't unexpected.

The mentions in the study materials does give Cisco a chance to sneak in the occasional wireless questions -- but its more likely now to be an easy question.

When they do finally mention it in the blueprint -- then worry about it. :D

Thanks for the info, the last thing I wanna do is to study something that may not be on the exam :) I can use the time to either party or do subnetting :)

Perhaps it is in Intro, thus could also be included in combo?

EDIT: Did a comparison of Combo objectives versus ICND objectives to see if there were more in Combo to accomodate INTRO objectives. They are nearly identical, with Technology section adding the following in Combo:

Describe network communications using layered models
Evaluate TCP/IP communication process and its associated protocols
Describe the components of network devices

In Intro, wireless is indeed covered, so it could be considered fair game to some extent in Combo.
