GX260 Hard drive issue
Hi
Got my hands on a couple of GX260's minus the hard drives for security reasons, ex company garbage basically
Popped in a spare drive to boot an XP disk, nothing....no drive is being detected by BIOS
There is nothing wrong with this drive I rechecked..reformatted....repartitioned....nothing
Is there a trickk with these dell PC's when putting in your own drive???
Pliz help
Thanks

Did you check the master/slave settings? This might be a reason why the BIOS doesn't detect it.
Could also be the cable... or the box itself is faulty. -
