AHCI mode problem

Hey guys, I was troubleshooting a new hdd and I enabled AHCI in my bios and it messed with booting up on Windows 7. When I rebooted it tried to use GRUB which I found weird since I didn't have Linux installed on the system. It never finished loading GRUB and just hangs. I also used the Windows 7 disc to try to repair the boot manager on Windows but that didn't help. Any suggestions?

Yeah I forgot the drivers =/

I thought it would've been easy to fix my mbr if I did screw this up but it obviously didn't work. What are the other ways of fixing the mbr? Some suggested to fdisk /mbr but that command didn't work from the boot to safemode from the install disc.

I'm thinking about running out and buying a new hdd and installing windows on there.

Trying to get AHCI to work by installing the driver and not having any luck...

Woh wtf, bootsect isn't working after adding another drive.

Disabled other drives, not gonna bother with AHCI anymore. I just hope I can get the other two drives running without having AHCI messing it up.
