Classroom Training for SQL2008

My company will be sending me to training on SQL 2008. I am new to sql and I am mostly handling our Windows Infrastructure. But my job now includes backup/ some troubleshooting for our sql databases. I have to choose between Course 6231A Maintaining a Microsoft SQL Server 2008 Database and Course 6232A: Implementing a Microsoft SQL Server 2008 Database (5 Days). I reviewed the course and it looks like 6231 is most suitable but I still need your advise.

I totally agree with you. Both would be ideal but the implementing course would be focused more on creating DBs. Maintaining will have more of what you need right now.
