exam query: JK0-015 or SY0-201?
ok i understand that one is for comptia academic partners(E2C)
but pearson-vue will let me book the JK0-015 which is £85+vat cheaper here in the uk
is it 'morally' acceptable for me to do this, or should i man up and pay for the SY0-201?
also what are the chances of me being found out if i do '****' by signing up for JK0-015?
i kinda know what i'll end up doing, but i'd be interested in peoples views...

then got the 70-299 two days later to get my mcsa:security
slowly making headway through darrils book
and also cbt'ing for both the sec+ and the MS exam on alternate nights
i know its a tough schedule but i've a second shot on the 70-299
and i really need to get these exams squared away by mid april
anyone had a similar experience with the two exams
or am i on a hiding to nothing and everyones avoiding my posts?

Darril Member Posts: 1,588You probably know it but these two exams are worlds apart.
The Security+ is much broader and has very straight forward questions.
The 70-299 is focused only on Microsoft technologies and is much harder. Expect to have much longer scenario based questions.
I frequently use this analogy when comparing Microsoft exams and the Security+ exam.
Security+ will ask a question like this: "What's 5 + 5?" Either you know it or you don't.
Microsoft will ask question like this: "You're driving a bus from Miami to Atlanta at 55 MPH. At the same time, a train is traveling from New York averaging 45 MPH. The bus is yellow. The train engine is black. What color are the bus driver's eyes?"
It may not seem like it, but you can answer this question.
Not only do you have to know the answer, but you also need some understanding of the topic to determine what they're actually asking.
Luckily the second shot gives you a free look at the exam. You don't have to wait until you're fully prepared.
Good luck.

The Jk0 simply means that it is an educational voucher from a school.WGU - Bachelors in Information Technology
