Question about cisco unity connection SMTP config

I have unity connection configured for SMTP, I receive notifications when I get voicemail but I was wondering if I could receive the voicemail in a wav file, mp3 etc... also?
By the way my email client is configured to use IMAP

azaghul Member Posts: 569 ■■■■□□□□□□I think Unity Connection only allows voicemail notification into SMTP, but the full Unity will allow .wav file delivery. I'm sure I've seen this in a CBT Nugget somewhere...?
I'm happy to be proved wrong though. -
pitviper Member Posts: 1,376 ■■■■■■■□□□The latest versions of Unity Connection can store and forward messages. The big downfall is that messages that are listened to, deleted, and so on in the external mailbox are not synchronized with the VM store. So for example the MWI on a desk phone will stay lit even though you opened the message via email.

I've only played around w/version 7+ but I think that your correct - the article above says that the relay feature was introduced in 7.1CCNP:Collaboration, CCNP:R&S, CCNA:S, CCNA:V, CCNA, CCENT
