Hay guys,
Made some changes to a program I am writting and didn't like them so quit Visual Studio without saving so I could load my last save before these changes.
However, it seems to have saved my changes for some reason and also for some strange reason I can only view the code for one of my forms and not the design view. I still have the Designer.vb file for it. Is there anyway for me to get the design view back without recreating the entire form.
This is probably very simple but I have only been using Visual Studio for 2 days (last time I wrote a program I was using VB6)
Thanks,
Aron

JDMurray Admin Posts: 13,090 AdminI assume there's a big, nasty error displayed in red when you try to switch to the design view? It sounds like you might have file system errors and the file failed to write properly to your hard disk. I would first run a chkdsk on the disk partition where you saved your project to check if this is so. As for repairing the file, open the file up in NotePad and see if there's anything obviously glitched that you can repair by hand.
