70-680 - Editions

I'm currently preparing for the 70-680 exam after having read the book it occurs to me that most of the interesting features are in the Enterprise/Ultimate SKUs, now my question is why would a company get the professional edition when they could go for Enterprise edition? I'm well aware that the Enterprise SKU is only available through Microsoft directly, does the whole set-up cost alot? Also another obvious reason is that you simply don't need these features.

Well Enterprise isnt available through OEM channels which is how a lot of SMB's buy their computers/licenses.

Also, a lot of SMBs dont use some of the enterprise features like branchcache, directaccess, bitlocker, etc.

Ultimate is just pricey and only adds Media Center above enterprise which most companies dont want users to be fooling with anyway
