If the driver for a device is not in the driver store, and not in the locations specified in devicepath, does windows 7 automatically check for the driver via windows update?
And if it finds a signed driver on windows update, is the device still installed?
And if it finds a signed driver on windows update, is the device still installed?
Current certs: MCP (210) MCSA (270, 290, 291 and 680) MCTS (680, 640)

It will search windows update once you have completed installation and are connected to the internet, it also checks Problems & Solutions to give you direct download links.
If you are missing a critical driver needed for installation to even occur you would need to load it into the image, before application.
