Hey guys just passed the 70-642 w/ a 900/1000. Thanks for all the help.
On alot of the questions you could eliminate at least two answers just by reading the question fully and understanding.
Now on to the 646. Then after that Solaris 10
Used MS Press, CBT Nuggets.
Quick Question: How hard is the 646 comnpared to the 642?

Congrats on the score.
Quick question:
How was the 83-642 compared to the 70-640? (From what I've heard the 70-640 has simulations similar to the 83-640)
So far in studying it seems as if the 70-642 will be easier. I'm currently studying for both.No longer work in IT. Play around with stuff sometimes still and fix stuff for friends and relatives. -

There is no such thing as 83-642 in the MS Exam range. Only 83 (virtual lab) exams are 83-640 and soon to be 83-680 (Windows 7)EA Path - 70-643 - Passed - 70-680 - Passed - 70-647 - To Complete

Typo meant to put 83-640 and 70-642 when I edited. Saw he had taken the 83-640 after I'd posted.
I go to WGU and we actually sign up for the 72-XXX.
The 72-620 I took for Vista probably went closer to the 83-620 than the 70-620 as it had 14 simulations on it.
I didn't know about 83-xxx MS exams until getting on this forum.No longer work in IT. Play around with stuff sometimes still and fix stuff for friends and relatives. -

I think the 83-640 was easier b/c there was labs involved and I had more experience with AD than network infrastructure.
The thing about the 640 is that you have to do the labs to succeed.Network+ CE

I get your point. I like the labs more while studying for the 70-640, gives me something more to do than take notes or something.No longer work in IT. Play around with stuff sometimes still and fix stuff for friends and relatives.
