Hey Guys,
My company wants me to get the CCIP ASAP, so well they expected me to do an exam every 2 months and so.... first one is BGP then MPLS then QoS.
I have books for MPLS and QoS, but i was looking around in cisco marketplace and didnt found a book dedicated to the BGP Certification for the CCIP Track, can you recommend some books please and/or share your experience with this exam.
thanks in advance

Forsaken_GA Member Posts: 4,024Routing TCP/IP vol 2 has a good BGP material as well, and I highly recommend the BGP-4 Configuration handbook, as some material doesn't really cover the nuances of the commands in depth (or at all.... the local-as neighbor command is a good example)

BGP Case Studies - Cisco Systems
A Brief History of MPLS
Internetworking Technology Handbook - Quality of Service (QoS) - Cisco Systems
In addition to some of the books mentioned.
Don't know about anyone else, but I felt there was a fair amount of overlap between the MPLS and BGP studies. BGP was good to start with and made MPLS a little easier to get through. -

I'm kind of banking on this. I had figured that MPLS would be made a bit easier if I had already gotten really familiar with BGP; especially when you start getting into the MPLS vpn portion of the course.
