I am reviewing some of the configuration files and there is one command that I don't seem to understand in there:
ip sla enable reaction-alerts
I have looked through the Cisco documentation and it doesn't seem very clear why this command would be used.....can anyone help?

"With Cisco IOS IP SLAs, service level monitoring is automated, IP service levels can be assured, network operation can be verified proactively, and network performance can be accurately measured. Active monitoring continuously measures the network performance between multiple paths in the network, providing ongoing performance baseline information.Network administrators can also use Cisco IOS IP SLAs as a troubleshooting tool."
