NLB again
I need to set up NLB for 2x Sharepoint servers on svr2003. I'm planning to go with unicast and 2x NICs per server.
I've configured the cluster IP and a NIC in each server for NLB. I can ping the cluster IP and master node and also the 2nd NIC IPs from anywhere, but I can't ping the second node's dedicated IP from the first node.
NLB query shows both nodes have converged.
I've tried restarting and the event logs shows all is healthy.
Everything looks correct but can't see why node 1 can't ping node 2. Heartbeats must be OK otherwise the whole thing would stop.
