Question about 7940G IP Phone ..

in my voice lab, i have 4 IP Phones. 2 - 7912 & 2 - 7940G .. Problem is, i am not able to get any TONE in my 7940G phones but 7912's are working great. Also, I am able to dial from 7940 to 7912 and vice versa ( 7940 do ring when they receive call ) but no tone or voice ... i checked with volume buttons as well but it didn't fix anything .. any idea ... any help is appreciated .. :) Thanks ..

    Could be that the 7940's have the wrong firmware installed or you are trying to load the wrong firmware from TFTP.

    Try a factory reset when they start, or force one from the network menu when they are running.

    Which version on CME are you running, and what platform? What are your tftp-server and load commands from your config?
