Windows 2008 vs 2003

Hello all,

I am enrolled in a Windows Server 2008 course which will be the first towards my MCITP. However, I signed up for the class before really researching and I am seeing that MCSE is still very important and win2k3 will be around for a while.

If I studied for 2008, would I be able to pass 2003? Is there that much overlapping material or could I maybe brish up on some 2003 topics not covered in 2008 and take both exams?

The foundation of the information will be pretty consistant across the platforms. You would need to study some topics for the MCSE stuff, but I don't think you would find it as hard as if you just started with the MCSE from scratch.

The focus of the MCSE is a little different than the MCITP:EA as well.
