vyatta
Anyone using this in a production network? I downloaded it a couple of days ago to test it on some x86 machine and it looks like it has nice capabilities. I don't know how it performs in the real world, so if you have some experience with it, please share it

My only warning/suggestion would be to make sure you play around with the configs for a while to make sure you understand their syntax as configuration of certain items (VPN I recall) was very different from HP or Cisco. NightShade03 Member Posts: 1,383 ■■■■■■■□□□We ran the software off an IBM desktop (dual core 2 GB RAM) and we have approx 150 computers + 50 other "devices" on the network. They advertise though that their product software or hardware is able to keep up with Cisco equipment so I can't image that you would have any problems, particularly if you buy the appliances.
