Math Questions on test

Just curious to know how many questions they average asking you to do the math.. I know it says there are not any questions regarding the forumla.. But in the test questions in Chapter 2, question 12 it wants you to covner mW to dBm.. and that requires knowing the log..

I think I should be ready to take the exam sometime in January.

You don't necessarily need to know how logs work to do dB math. Review the tips and tricks in that section....the rule of 10 and 3.

On my CWNA exam, there were questions about mathematical concepts, but none where I had to perform any calculations or conversions. I assumed there would be two or three, but I didn't have any.

However, best to be prepared for any eventuality.

I'm reading the book right now and they keep repeating that the formulas and calculations are for us to use as wireless admins and will not be on the test. So, I guess no math on the test.
