ITIL - Is training mandatory for exams?

Hi,

I am considering taking some ITIL exams, and I was wondering if it is possible to do this on self study alone, or if I have to attend classes to take the Exams (like the VCP).

As far as I know, ITIL v3 Foundation is the only one you can do via self study. The others require a class.

ITILTRAIN

Outside of the Foundation course all other certifications require attendance in a class. You have three classroom options

1. Classroom
2. Online classroom (webex)
3. Online Self Paced e-learning
