Follow up letters

I interviewed a couple of days ago and sent a brief, but well thought out follow-up letter via email the day after. Then I started thinking....what if my email ended up in his junk mail and he never sees it? It was a great letter and I'd hate for it to go to waste lol.
Would it be overkill or look bad to send a copy of the same letter via postal mail as well? Or should I just leave well enough alone and wait for contact?
