To get or not to get...

I am still riding the fence on whether or not to get this cert. Not sure how much of a help it would be in the future. The DoD has just pushed everyone to Vista. They are talking of going to Windows 7 and the Vista deployment is barely over.

If you have a lot of experience with XP and want and/or need the cert then I say go for it. From what I hear this is a very difficult test. Out of the three Client tests (XP/Vista/7) I hear Vista is the easiest.
I don't think XP is going away anytime soon and this cert wouldn't be a bad thing to have. However, if you plan on going the MCITP route, the XP exam doesn't satisfy the client portion. You would have to take either Vista or Windows 7 client cert test.
