Passed Network+ Today - 886
The test was pretty much what I expected, however there were some questions that caught me off guard. It was a much harder test than either A+ exam, even though I did better on this one. I studied my book quite thoroughly and even read several chapters more than twice. Also, all the practice tests that I took from Exam Essentials and Transcender helped a bunch. The test was surprisingly easier than the practice tests, but I think that it's a good idea to be overprepared. All in all, I spent maybe 2 - 3 weeks studying, but I probably could have done it in a week if I had crammed. One thing that surprised me was the number of questions regarding port numbers and their related services. As long as you have a good understanding of networking you should have no trouble passing this exam. Next I'll move on to Server+ and MCSA. Wish me luck.

what was your average score on the practice tests -
cheeblie Member Posts: 288My average score was in the high 80s to low 90s. By the way, Exam Essentials is by far the best testing program I have found. Some questions were exactly the same as the actual test questions.
