Error Message
jrb1027
Hello All!
I'm in the process of building a voice lab and finally got the last piece for my cme router, a vwic-1mft-t1. I hope not, but I'm wondering if I got a dud. After installing the card and booting the router (1760 w/12.4(15)T1 ios) I did a "show diag" because I noticed some odd error messages during boot.
These are the error messages I seen during boot:
Mar 1 00:00:20.709: %E1T1_MODULE-3-INITFAILURE: Slot 0, Unit 1 initialization failure - Firmware Download
*Mar 1 00:00:20.709: %E1T1_MODULE-3-INITFAILURE: Slot 0, Unit 1 initialization failure - FPGA & Firmware Download
*Mar 1 00:00:20.709: %E1T1_MODULE-3-INITFAILURE: Slot 0, Unit 1 initialization failure - E1T1 Init
And this is the results of the show diag command:
WIC/VIC Slot 1:
T1 (1 port) Multi-Flex Trunk WAN daughter card
Hardware revision 1.0 Board revision B0
Serial number 0015647768 Part number 800-03568-01
FRU Part Number VWIC-1MFT-T1=
Test history 0x00 RMA number 00-00-00
Connector type PCI
EEPROM format version 1
EEPROM contents (hex):
0x20: 01 20 01 00 00 EE C4 18 50 0D F0 01 00 00 00 00
0x30: 58 00 00 00 99 08 28 00 FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF
Can someone provide me with some commands that I can use to test the card (I have no access to the "controller t1 0" command), or does it look like the card is bad based on this output? I apologize for asking what is probably simple, but I haven't got that far into my studies yet and I'm unfamiliar with commands for these cards, plus I only have 7 days to exchange it for another if it is bad.
Thanks for the help!
