CIA (Certified Internal Auditor) anyone

I was looking at it and sure looks interesting. How does anyone get started on it? I was looking at theiia.org but still not clear as to how to start on it. If anybody knows anything about it, can you explain a little bit as to how to get started, ho many years of experience you need and stuff like that.
