This is regarding one of the questions in Boson test exam.
A switch is shown as administrative mode: dynamic auto and operational mode: trunk
One of the correct answers that is gives is the switch on the other end must have its trunking configuration, by default or via additional configuration commands, set to either dynamic desirable or trunk.
The other question which was not correct is: the switch on the other end must have its trunking configuration, by default or via additional configuration commands, set to either dynamic desirable. (only)
Why would they not both be correct?

Cyanic Member Posts: 289I am not sure what you are asking exactly, but a switch port with 'dynamic auto' must be pared with a port set to 'trunk' or 'dynamic desirable' in order for it to enter trunk mode.
I have seen plenty of mistakes on practice tests. You may want to contact Boson if you believe there is a mistake on their test. -
notext Member Posts: 10 ■□□□□□□□□□I believe it saying that both dynamic desireable and trunk are both correct, so that means that the answer that is dynamic desireable only is incorrect, as trunk is also an option.
It is a bit confusing on the wording, only is the keyword, though.
