Wrong Windows version

I built a Windows 2003 server with the media provided. It's a few weeks later and I'm now trying to activate Windows; except it's telling me the VLK key is invalid. I gotta bad feeling that the media wasn't a VLK version.
Anyone know of any alternatives to smash-rebuild?

Doing a repair installation with the media type you need will usually fix it.
