NetWare Naming Policy
Does anyone know what the rules are for naming a Netware computer? I have the "4.1 Online Documentation" CD loaded on my 2KPro, but what I have found so far: everything says to press F1 during install; but that was long ago, not needed then, and I don't want to destroy the setup I have.
Netware volume names - are they restricted to NetBIOS or DOS names?
I saw there that it must be 2-15 characters, and O & OU names for bindery are <=47 characters, and NDS are <=64.
While no practice tests have asked, it is strange that we are told about MS and Apple but not NW.

Not sure there is any hard and fast rules for workstations. All of the ones at our clients just use their MS names.www.supercross.com
