When I pick up a meeting invite emailed to me and move it to my calendar, this action automatically accepts on behalf of Paul's invites. How can I move an invite without automatically saving?

Can you explain the problem a little more clearly... It sounds like you have delegate pemissions to "Paul's" calendar - yes?
Accepting an invite will add it to the calendar so why are you moving the invite? Are you trying to move an entry from Paul's calendar to your own ?
