hosted exchange
So we are a small managed services company. Starting at the end of last year it was decided that we were going to resell Intermedia. 43 regular clients about 200 other clients we are all pushing them off Exchange/Lotus toward Intermedia.
Right now we charge $20 a mailbox per month, plus $1000ish to migrate them off the Exchange server/configure outlook. Certainly not cheap, the sales team even mentioned its their second highest margin service.
I just wanted to see if anyone else is undergoing something similar? What have been your experiences?
It's also worth mentioning I have not had the greatest experiences with Intermedia and was wondering what it would take for us to build our own Exchange hosting envionment? Seems to me with Exchange 2010 you would just need a few high powered servers, large disks and a good pipe.
