Always show outlook envelope icon

Anyone know how to use gpo to always show the outlook 07 envelope icon in the notification area? I've checked email options to make sure that the icon is enabled but it doesnt always show when they get a new email. The user has to manually go into notification area icons in control panel and choose always show. Thoughts?

It might be me, but I've never seen outlook 2007 show the notifications properly 100% of the time, even when configured just how you want them.

Mine works pretty well, don't know how to enforce it with GPO though.
Decide what to be and go be it.

Not being able to gpo non-system icons really sucks icon_sad.gif

Why don't you just import the line into the registry using a batch file and assign it to everyone's login script?

I forget the exact syntax of it, but I have it written down at home and can post it tonight if you don't know how.

Because I don't know which registry key it is. Been looking all day...
