Interesting. From everything I'm hearing about SWITCH, it's horrible and not a great test of technology, more a test of Cisco BS. Maybe ROUTE isn't like that...

You think the SWITCH test is more memorization rather than testing on real world skills?

I can't say for sure as I haven't taken it. But from talking to friends and reading blogs, it seems like it's a lot of Cisco and ITIL buzzwords. I remember BCMSN being a very difficult and tech oriented exam, it sounds like SWITCH may not be like that. Again, this is all hearsay. I haven't taken the exam, nor do I plan to.

No I wouls say there was a fair bit of tech. The Sims seemed to cover 3 or 4 differerent areas that you had to work togather. And all the core tecs where there.

yes there was some best practic stuff and some design consepts but these where well placed and not over the top.

Well I'm hoping to take the route exam in 3 or 4 weeks. I will see how it goes
