Interesting. From everything I'm hearing about SWITCH, it's horrible and not a great test of technology, more a test of Cisco BS. Maybe ROUTE isn't like that... -

You think the SWITCH test is more memorization rather than testing on real world skills? -

I can't say for sure as I haven't taken it. But from talking to friends and reading blogs, it seems like it's a lot of Cisco and ITIL buzzwords. I remember BCMSN being a very difficult and tech oriented exam, it sounds like SWITCH may not be like that. Again, this is all hearsay. I haven't taken the exam, nor do I plan to.

No I wouls say there was a fair bit of tech. The Sims seemed to cover 3 or 4 differerent areas that you had to work togather. And all the core tecs where there.

Well I'm hoping to take the route exam in 3 or 4 weeks. I will see how it goes
