Windows Server 2003/2008 compatibility issues

Hi everyone,

Sorry if I'm posting this in the wrong section. If I have a domain with only Windows 2003 servers and wanted to start deploying Windows Server 2008, are there any specific compatibility issues I should be looking at or anything in particular I need to know so that I don't run into any unexpected problems? Sorry for being such a newbie.

Thanks.

There shouldn't be any compatibility issues. The only potential problem that I can think of is if you have 2003 DC's you won't be able to increase the functional level to 2008.
Decide what to be and go be it.

Don't forget to do adprep /forestprep
No longer work in IT. Play around with stuff sometimes still and fix stuff for friends and relatives.

and adprep /domainprep, but only if they will be domain controllers.

You don't need to do anything special to add 2008 member servers.
