I'm taking the Linux+ 2004 beta today. I got a free voucher, so I thought I would give it a shot.

just got back.

144 questions total.

Lots of permission questions. Chmod, Chown, SGID, etc. etc.

Lots of RPM questions.

Lots of FileSystem (FSTAB, FSCK, FDISK, etc. etc.)

Lots of User/Group management (/etc/passwd, /etc/shadow/, /etc/group)

Also had TAR, IFCONFIG, TOP, NETSTAT, and more.

It was pretty easy, overall. And I took this test 'cold' with no studying at all.

We will get the results back in 30 - 90 days. I'll post my score when I get it.
