Command descrepancies
Cisco products(mainly switches unlike routers) tend to slightly differ in the commands when configuring various features for example in Cat 5000, the commands to set up and verifying are different from those in say 2900 series.
I want to know how Cisco handles this in an exam say SWITCH or BCMSN.
Does it stick to a particular line of products or any product can be examined in the Lab scenarios. Do they use IOS based or CatOS based switches?
I have worked mainly on IOS based switches so I want to know if I need to invest further in CatOS switches. Thanks
I hope my question didn't break the NDA.

I don't know of any exam you will need CatOS for. -
tiersten Member Posts: 4,505They don't use CatOS at all and they generally don't use any EOS/EOL switches either. What networker050184 and ColbyG said.
