4500R and 6509

in CCIE
I figured I'd ask this question in here...
Is there any way to gain experience in 4500R and 6509 through simulation?
Or does one just have to be lucky enough to work with one at their jobs?

experience with them would usually be through your job...or somoene like me who has one for lab use
Some colleges that have a Cisco academy might have some...I know of only 1 in So.Cal but they are older 4000'sIf you cannot express in a sentence or two what
you intend to get across, then it is not focused
well enough.

No sims. You're generally expected to have real hardware through work or a rental for equipment like that. Emulation has no chance because those are nearly all custom ASICs. -

I don't know of any publicly available emulators/simulators for chassis switches. Gotta find a job that exposes you to them, or spend some monies on eBay. -

Thanks guys.
I assume the 6509 replaces the 4500R's? Or are they completely different?
Kinda like ASA replacing PIX.
I can understand why these can't be simulated. Heck, even if someone gave me one, I don't know if I can afford the electrical bills! LOL!!!
