Sharepoint Database move

Arrgghhh, this is doing my head in, i am in need of some clarification on the steps!! I am hoping to move everything from the old to the new as i have a rather large document control workflow involving many workflow actions etc. (Rob you know what i mean) The old box has a standalone install, but the new box will have a farm install. the user base is very very small, 50 users at the most and so i have to think about what would the easiest option will be, then to know how to move everything. I sure would like some help with this if anyone has some time.
