Deleted Outlook Messages (Need Help!)

I could sure use some help, if possible. My wife accidently deleted all her messages in Outllook Express before she had a chance to save the important ones. Everything is gone, Inbox, Junkmail, Sent Messages...etc. I tried System Restore thinking this would bring them back...NOT!
She has a Sony Laptop w/Vista OS. Would appreciate any help. Thank you!
I read something about going into HEX, but this sounds like I could really get myself into some trouble I may not be able to get out of.

I am not sure about Outlook Express, but in Outlook 2007, you can go to tools > recover deleted items. Then a box will appear with a bunch of emails you can restore. You will have to do this for each folder. Hope this helps
