janmike Member Posts: 3,076IMO, use Mike Meyers's All-In-One A+ Exam Guide, Fifth Edition.
One of the best things is to get copies of these OSs, and practice loading them and using them along with Meyers's text. This was a tremendous help to me when I was studying A+. Get used to both the command prompt and the GUI side of things.
Learn the boot sequences.
Certainly not nearly everything involved, but a good start to make everything else make sense.
