IPS Exam Study

I setup a 4240 and 2 AIP-SSM20's at work over the last few weeks, but didn't have time to tune them before vacation.
I was sort of concerned that I was going to have difficulty with exam study since I have no experience with IPS on any level but I just finished plowing through the CBT Nuggets. It took me 3 whirlwind days and I have to say, there doesn't seem to be a whole lot to the IPS exam layout.
I'm going to do some "labs" at work while tuning the sensors and then read the old IPS exam book I got for cheap just to see if I'm missing anything, but I'm cautiously optimistic that I can pass this with only another week or so of study.
Am I deluding myself, or is this exam as straight forward as it seems? I guess I expected I'd have to study longer than 2-3 weeks as it took me 4 months total to be ready to take SNAF and SNAA.

"It seems to me there's quite a lot to be done. And since, clearly, no one else is going to do it, I will."
