Ventilation query

I am putting up a wardrobe in my boys room in one of the alcoves, behind the right door is my boiler, behind the left door will be 5 shelves, a total of 4 HP Compaq D530 (slimline desktop) PC's will be on the shelves, I plan on cladding the inside of this with maybe sponge or old egg cartons? to dampen the noise it will make but am not sure if this will generate too much heat

an option would be to mount fans on the door but then I will hear the PC's, another option maybe a bit extreme to drill a big hole on the outside and fit a tube from the wardrobe to the outside same way a boiler is setup?

has anyone set up multiple PC's in same cupboard and had to do something to combat noise / heat?

any help would be great
