learning linux commands
I found a website that has, so far been great for learning basic linux commands. Linux Survival :: Where learning Linux is easy allows you to practice your basic linux commands, from within a java enviroment, no install or livecd required. I just finished modules one and 2, a refresher for me going over commands such as:
mv
cd
cp
mkdir
rmdir
chmod
and so on. I think anyone who is jumping into linux command line should defiantly check it out.

How does it behave in Vista and 7?No longer work in IT. Play around with stuff sometimes still and fix stuff for friends and relatives. -

Ubuntu **** Sheet | FOSSwire

Both are 1-2 page **** sheets with linux commands and small explanations. Will help if you have to look something up quickly while learning. -

I have had both of those printed out for weeks. Good material. -

behaves fine in 7! It's probably more browser dependent than OS dependent. I did find it interesting that Solaris is listed with the Windows OS'.
